Infant OFSTED Report 2018

27th April 2018

Dear Parents/carers,

It is with great pride that I attach the Inspector’s letter from our recent Ofsted short inspection.

As you will be aware, St Joseph’s Infants’ Camberwell was inspected on Thursday 22nd March 2018.

If you had been graded as a GOOD school in your previous inspection, which we were, you then qualify for a short inspection the next time you are inspected.

This involves Ofsted checking to see if you continue to be a GOOD school. If they conclude that you remain a good school, the inspection lasts for one day.

Our inspection lasted for one day and the evidence the inspector gathered showed clearly that we continue to be a very GOOD school.

I was intending to draw your attention to some extracts from the inspector’s letter but there were just too many that I wanted to share with you so instead, I shall just let you read the whole letter and you can imagine those statements of which I am most proud!

I would also like to publicly thank all the staff and governors here at St Joseph’s Camberwell who have worked tirelessly since the previous inspection in October 2013, to ensure that we remain a very GOOD school, which I am sure you will all agree it to be.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you – all of our parents and carers for your continued support and of course, to all of our wonderful children for their hard work and positive attitudes.

Kind regards

S M Kirrane
