The Great St. Joseph's Bake Off

During the week of 9th February we enjoyed Maths week. As part of this we held a sale of maths equipment and each class made home made cookies, cakes, biscuits and pizzas to sell at the end of the day.  We also had a maths game competition where you could make your own maths games.  On Wednesday morning we had the Quantum Theatre Company visit us and the whole school watched the show called The Calculating Mr. One.  On Friday morning, year 6 went to Myatt's Field for a maths trail.  We had different questions and we had to use the trundle wheels and a measuring tape to be able to answer the questions.  The trundle wheel was to measure the area of the playground and the measuring tape was to measure the height of zip line and the see saw.  We were put into teams...we don't know who the winners were yet but check back here to find out soon.
